2012

After "The day after tomorrow", I haven't see disaster films for a long time.
It's so reflective and alarming...
I was impressed by a scene of "repent: it is the end of the world"
When the disasters happening around the world, it is so real that the world is getting closer and closer to be "game over".. :(
tsunami, dust storms, earthquakes.....etc..
So what we strive for today seems to be in vain if the natural disasters wash away all your belongings.
So why would we still just pursuit for luxuries, reputations, money...the things that will be corrupt?

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. " Matthew 6:19-21

People always think the end of the world is not that close, however, no one can tell.
May be it is in 2012, or may be it will be earlier...

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come." Matthew 24:36-42

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." Matthew 3:2
